Maillen es una aldea en la provincia belga de Namur y una parte del municipio de Assesse. Hasta el 1 de enero de 1977, fue un municipio independiente. El pueblo cuenta con aproximadamente 650 habitantes. Maillen está dominado por una iglesia neogótica, en torno a la cual se agrupan algunas casas y granjas. La agricultura es, por lo tanto, la principal actividad económica. A lo largo de la cercana N4 se encuentra una pequeña franja de actividad industrial a pequeña escala. Al sur del municipio se encuentra el caserío de Ivoy.
