Maasmechelen Village es un centro de compras outlet inaugurado en 2001 en Maasmechelen por la empresa británica Value Retail Plc, fundada en 1992 y dirigida por el inventor y especialista en bienes raíces estadounidense Scott D. Malkin. El centro comercial se construyó en 2001 como parte de la reconversión del antiguo sitio minero de la mina de carbón de Eisden. El centro comercial se encuentra al lado de los dos cabrestantes de la mina de Eisden, cerrada en 1987. La Sociedad de Reconversión de Limburgo, que también participó, quería estimular el empleo de trabajadores no cualificados.
