Los bosques de Huwyns en Lichtervelde (35 ha) forman un hermoso pulmón verde en una zona relativamente pobre en naturaleza. Por ello, es un gran atractivo para muchos ciclistas y caminantes de la zona. Explore con la ayuda del Margrietepad (2 km - inicio en el aparcamiento) o anímese al extenso recorrido de senderismo de Heihoek (8,5 km). También hay un sendero para jinetes y una pista de bicicleta de montaña disponible. Los más pequeños pueden jugar a sus anchas en el bosque de juegos 'De Elf Gemeten'.
