Die Huwynsbossen in Lichtervelde (35 ha) sind eine wunderschöne grüne Lunge in einem relativ naturarmen Gebiet. Sie sind daher ein beliebtes Ziel für viele Radfahrer und Wanderer in der Umgebung. Erkunden Sie die Gegend mit dem Margrietepad (2 km - Start Parkplatz) oder wagen Sie sich auf die umfangreiche Heihoek-Wanderroute (8,5 km). Für Reiter und Mountainbiker gibt es auch einen Reiterweg und einen Mountainbikeweg. Die Kleinsten unter uns können sich im Spielwald 'De Elf Gemeten' nach Herzenslust austoben. In der Ridderstraat, direkt neben dem Wald, gibt es einen Fahrradparkplatz und einen gemütlichen Platz zum Picknicken.
