Esta ruta de senderismo (5,5 km o 7,2 km) coloca el paisaje llano de los pólderes alrededor de Lissewege en el centro. Partiendo del centro de visitantes local, primero se visita la pintoresca aldea. Caminos tranquilos y sin tráfico te llevan al canal Boudewijn, que conecta Brujas con el puerto de Zeebrugge. Las orillas densamente vegetadas de esta vía acuática de 70 m de ancho ofrecen refugio a numerosas especies de aves. Luego se camina hacia la antigua abadía de Ter Doest. Caminos rurales con hermosas vistas sobre las amplias praderas de pólderes son los principales ingredientes del camino de regreso. A través del canal de Lissewege se regresa al punto de partida.
