Deze wandelroute (5,5 km of 7,2 km) plaatst het vlakke polderlandschap rond Lissewege centraal. Vertrekkend vanuit het plaatselijk bezoekerscentrum wordt eerst en vooral de pittoreske dorpskom aangedaan. Rustige verkeersvrije wegen brengen je bij het Boudewijnkanaal, dat Brugge met de Zeebrugse haven verbindt. De dicht begroeide oevers van deze 70m brede waterweg bieden een onderkomen aan tal van vogelsoorten. Vervolgens wordt naar de voormalige abdij Ter Doest gestapt. Landelijke wegen met fraaie vergezichten over de uitgestrekte polderweiden vormen de voornaamste ingrediënten van de terugweg. Via het Lisseweegs vaartje wordt het uitgangspunt opnieuw bereikt.
