Questo percorso a piedi (5,5 km o 7,2 km) mette al centro il pianeggiante paesaggio polder intorno a Lissewege. Partendo dal centro visitatori locale, si visita innanzitutto il pittoresco centro del villaggio. Strade tranquille e prive di traffico ti conducono al canale Boudewijn, che collega Bruges al porto di Zeebrugge. Le rive densamente vegetate di questa via d'acqua larga 70 m offrono rifugio a numerose specie di uccelli. Successivamente si prosegue verso l'ex abbazia di Ter Doest. Strade rurali con splendide vedute sulle ampie praterie polder costituiscono gli ingredienti principali del percorso di ritorno. Attraverso il traghetto Lisseweegs si raggiunge nuovamente il punto di partenza.
