Sint-Margriete-Houtem, también escrito Sint-Margriet Houtem, es una aldea en la provincia belga de Brabante Flamenco y un distrito de la ciudad de Tienen. Sint-Margriet Houtem fue un municipio independiente hasta la reestructuración municipal de 1977. Antes de la fusión, Sint-Margriete-Houtem limitaba al campo Rode a una pequeña distancia de Neerlinter. Además, Bunsbeek no solo llegaba por el lado norte hasta Houtem. Un número de parcelas en la aldea Stok "abrazaban" al municipio en el noreste. Así, Houtem consistía en un núcleo común y una zona alargada que se extendía hasta Neerlinter. Esta complicada situación se simplificó considerablemente, ya que algunas parcelas se añadieron a Kortenaken.
