Leisele es una ciudad en la provincia belga de West Flandes, cerca de la frontera francesa. Desde 1977 es una localidad del municipio de Alveringem. Leisele proviene del germánico y significa lindo = tilo y sali = vivienda de un solo espacio. Fue mencionada por primera vez en 1114 como Lincelam como una parroquia independiente. El derecho de patronato de la parroquia de San Martín estaba en manos de la abadía de Étrun.
