Keiem es una aldea en la provincia belga de West Flandes y es una parte del municipio de la ciudad de Diksmuide. El territorio de Keiem limita al oeste con el río IJzer, sobre el cual se encuentra el puente Tervate. Keiem tiene una superficie de 12,92 km² y contaba en 2007 con casi 1300 habitantes. Debido a la ubicación relativamente alta de Keiem, se podría haber poblado ya en la época romano temprana. Sin embargo, Keiem no fue mencionada en una fuente escrita hasta 1203, como Caihem; aunque el lugar desempeñó un papel en el siglo XII como residencia de Bertulf, quien, después del asesinato - orquestado por él - del conde Carlos el Bueno en 1127, huyó aquí, donde tenía propiedades.
