Vroenhoven es una división del municipio de Riemst en la provincia de Limburgo, Bélgica. El pueblo, anteriormente conocido como Montenaken, está situado cerca de la frontera belga-holandesa, cerca de Maastricht, y cuenta con 1518 habitantes, de los cuales una parte considerable tiene nacionalidad neerlandesa.
En Vroenhoven se han encontrado objetos de los bandkeramiekers en dos lugares, a saber, en Heukelom y cerca de la torre de agua. Entre los hallazgos de la época romana se encuentran un túmulo, restos de una villa y un hallazgo monetario. La carretera principal romana aún no ha sido excavada en Vroenhoven.
