Kaster es un pequeño pueblo en la provincia belga de Flandes Occidental y un distrito de Anzegem, era un municipio independiente hasta la reorganización municipal de 1977. Alrededor de 1920 se encontraron raspadores y puntas de flecha del neolítico. Aunque el lugar fue atravesado por la vía romana de Bavai a Oudenburg y el nombre del lugar Kaster parece derivar de la palabra romana castrum, no se han encontrado restos de un campamento militar romano, aunque se hallaron monedas romanas, fragmentos y piezas de tejas. En 1977 y posteriormente también se encontraron restos de un asentamiento romano.
