Cerca del núcleo del pueblo de Massemen se encuentra el protegido Van Hauwermeirsmolen. Inicialmente era una empresa doble compuesta por un molino de aceite y un molino de grano, cada uno en una orilla del Molenbeek. A principios del siglo XX, el molino de aceite entró en decadencia y fue desocupado. Tras una cuidadosa restauración, el molino de grano ha vuelto a estar en funcionamiento y a ser apto para moler. El propio molino de agua está en el sendero Molenbeek, un sendero natural que busca proporcionar a los niños una comprensión de la interconexión entre los diferentes biotopos de un valle de arroyo. Se puede visitar el molino los fines de semana y en días festivos.
