Antigua abadía cisterciense. Complejo rectangular de la abadía del siglo XVII al XX rodeado de antiguos edificios militares del siglo XIX al XX, situado dentro de un extenso terreno amurallado que limita al sur con Benedenvliet y al oeste con Schelde. Actualmente, una amplia carretera de hormigón en el eje de la Depotstraat conduce a la entrada actual, que es el ala este. En el lado noroeste de la muralla, en Nijverheidsstraat, puerta de acceso del siglo XVIII; actualmente una de las entradas a la empresa de tratamiento de metales que se encuentra al norte y al oeste de la abadía.
