En este lugar se encontraba una iglesia o capilla construida entre 940 y 1050 que fue reemplazada en el siglo XIV por una iglesia gótica. Las pinturas murales figurativas de esa época todavía son visibles en el lado izquierdo.
Durante la restauración de 2004 se instaló calefacción por suelo radiante (condición para restaurar el órgano de la iglesia). El pórtico de roble original fue demoleado y reemplazado por una puerta de vidrio y el sagrario de mármol en el coro de la iglesia fue sustituido por "cajas de madera". Se eliminaron los asientos de roble para los notables. (fuente: wikipedia)
