El monumento canadiense Hill 62 es un monumento a la guerra que conmemora las acciones de la primera, segunda y tercera división del ejército canadiense durante la Primera Guerra Mundial, en particular la defensa de las trincheras del sur del saliente de Ypres entre abril y agosto de 1916, incluyendo acciones durante las batallas de los cráteres de St. Eloi, Hill 62 y Sanctuary Wood. Estas batallas fueron la primera vez que divisiones canadienses participaron en operaciones ofensivas planificadas durante la Primera Guerra Mundial. Los canadienses recuperaron posiciones vitales en altura, lo que hizo que los alemanes perdieran su control sobre la ciudad de Ypres. Sin embargo, estas victorias tuvieron un costo de 8430 vidas.
