La colina 62 es una colina en los alrededores de Ypres. '62' indica que la colina está a 62 metros sobre el nivel del mar. La colina 62 o Höhe 62 cayó en manos alemanas en 1916 hasta que las tropas canadienses la conquistaron. Los canadienses sufrieron grandes pérdidas durante esta conquista. El monumento en la cima conmemora a los soldados canadienses caídos. Desde la colina 62 se tiene una hermosa vista de las torres de Ypres y se nota de inmediato la importancia estratégica de una altura durante la Primera Guerra Mundial.
