¿Sabías que aquí hubo una leprosería alrededor del año 1100? En este lugar se construyó en 1553 el molino de agua de Volsem. Este lugar triangular estaba delimitado por agua en todos sus lados. El curso del Zuunbeek se ha desviado varias veces en el pasado y la rueda de agua doble o rueda de dientes, tan característica de este molino, lamentablemente se ha perdido. Las compuertas permanecieron intactas. El edificio fue vendido en 1967 y ahora es un restaurante. Lo interesante del edificio son el tejado de pizarra y las grandes y pequeñas ventanas de tejado. También observa la banda de piedra blanca y ladrillo en la parte inferior, para evitar la humedad ascendente. El molino fue declarado monumento protegido por su valor como importante testimonio histórico e industrial-arqueológico.
