El interior de esta torre de enfriamiento fue utilizado en la película "El primer ministro", un thriller belga de 2016, dirigido por Erik Van Looy y con Koen De Bouw en el papel principal. Van Looy escribió junto con Carl Joos el guion de la película. El primer ministro belga (Koen De Bouw) se dirige a una reunión importante, cuando es secuestrado por una banda armada. Es traído aquí donde se entera por parte de los captores que no solo él, sino también su esposa e hijos, están siendo retenidos. El primer ministro solo recuperará a su familia si asesina más tarde ese día al presidente estadounidense, que está de visita oficial en Bélgica.
