Il interno di questa torre di raffreddamento è stato utilizzato nel film "Il premier", un thriller belga del 2016, diretto da Erik Van Looy e con Koen De Bouw nel ruolo principale. Van Looy ha scritto insieme a Carl Joos la sceneggiatura del film. Il primo ministro belga (Koen De Bouw) è in viaggio verso una importante riunione, quando viene rapito da una banda armata. Viene portato qui dove apprende dai sequestratori che non solo lui, ma anche sua moglie e i suoi figli vengono tenuti prigionieri. Il premier riavrà la sua famiglia solo se nel pomeriggio di quel giorno ucciderà il presidente americano, in visita di stato in Belgio.
