Punto de experiencia de turba Mikvaart
En la intersección de Kraaienberg con la calle Kievit se encuentra un hermoso lugar para descansar.
Está decorado con el tema de "TURBA". Encontrarás hermosas esculturas de madera de un cortador de turba, un transportador de turba y un bote de turba. En el poste de hierro de Veenpaal, junto a un hermoso poema de Geert De Coockere, también encontrarás un panel informativo sobre cómo se transportaba la turba.
Este proyecto surgió de la colaboración entre el Paisaje Regional de Voorkempen, el municipio de Essen y VVV De Tasberg.
Para ciclistas y caminantes, se ha convertido en un agradable lugar de descanso con bancos para disfrutar de todo esto.
