La estación de As es una antigua estación de ferrocarril en las líneas de tren 21A (Hasselt-As) y 21B (As-Eisden). Actualmente, hay un establecimiento de hostelería en el edificio de la estación y la VZW Kolenspoor lo utiliza para la explotación de la línea turística de tren Waterschei-As-Eisden.
En la estación de As también se encuentra una de las llamadas puertas del Parque Nacional Hoge Kempen, y hay una torre de observación.
