La capilla de Kruisborre es el punto culminante de la procesión de Kruisborre. La capilla de Kruisborre es el punto de inicio y final del camino o 'Kapellekensweg'. Después de una oración, se daba tres vueltas a la capilla en un acto de oración. Luego, el camino continúa a través de la fuente pasando por las diferentes capillas. Estas no tienen relación directa con la veneración de la Cruz. Generalmente se construyeron como agradecimiento por un favor recibido en relación con una peregrinación a Kruisborre.
