La cocina comunitaria 110 es la última cocina comunitaria que queda en el puerto de Amberes. Las cocinas comunitarias se establecieron desde la segunda mitad del siglo XIX hasta la década de 1920 para ofrecer a los trabajadores portuarios la posibilidad de calentarse y comer de forma económica. Hasta poco antes de la Primera Guerra Mundial, las cocinas comunitarias también eran el lugar donde se contrataba y pagaba a los trabajadores portuarios.
