Hospital en estilo art déco diseñado por el arquitecto Alfried Defever en diciembre de 1927, construido tras obtener el permiso de construcción en junio de 1928. El cliente fue la Société Coopérative Hôpitaux & Cliniques. El nombre Clínica Centenario hace referencia al centenario de la independencia belga en 1930, el año en que se inauguró el hospital.
