Sint-Pauwels es una localidad en la provincia belga de Flandes Oriental y una submunicipalidad de Sint-Gillis-Waas. Sint-Pauwels tenía en 2001 4359 habitantes. En 1117, Sint-Pauwels era conocido como Clapdorp y era un asentamiento de Kemzeke. En 1234 se convirtió en una parroquia independiente, dedicada a San Pablo. Los padres recollectores que fueron expulsados de Hulst en 1646 se establecieron durante un tiempo en Sint-Pauwels. De aquí deriva el nombre del barrio Patershoek. En 1689 se establecieron permanentemente en Sint-Niklaas.
