Sint-Pauwels è un comune nella provincia belga di Fiandra Orientale e una frazione di Sint-Gillis-Waas. Nel 2001, Sint-Pauwels contava 4359 abitanti. Nel 1117, Sint-Pauwels era conosciuta come Clapdorp ed era un villaggio di Kemzeke. Nel 1234 divenne una parrocchia autonoma, dedicata a San Paolo. I padri recollettori, scacciati da Hulst nel 1646, si stabilirono per un certo periodo a Sint-Pauwels. Da questo è stato nominato il quartiere Patershoek. Nel 1689 si stabilirono permanentemente a Sint-Nicolò.
