Matonge es un barrio de la comuna bruselense de Ixelles. El vecindario a veces se llama "Pequeño Zaire" debido a la gran cantidad de inmigrantes congoleños. Es un auténtico barrio popular con diversos comercios (wikipedia, s.d.).
El barrio está situado entre la Waversesteenweg y la Elsensesteenweg, justo debajo del Pequeño anillo cerca de la Puerta de Namur (wikipedia, s.d.).
En la esquina de la calle Solvay con la Waversesteenweg (N4) se encuentra la escultura Au-delà de l'espoir. Esta obra de arte fue diseñada en 2007 con motivo del hermanamiento entre Ixelles y Kinshasa.
