Matonge is een wijk in de Brusselse gemeente Elsene. De buurt wordt soms ook wel "Klein Zaïre" genoemd vanwege de vele Congolese immigranten. Het is een echte volkswijk met verschillende handelszaken (wikipedia, z.d.).
De wijk is gelegen tussen de Waversesteenweg en de Elsensesteenweg, vlak onder de Kleine ring nabij de Naamsepoort (wikipedia,z.d.).
Op de hoek van de Solvaystraat met de Waversesteenweg (N4) bevindt zich het stanbeeld Au-delà de l'espoir. Dit kunstwerk werd ontworpen in 2007 ter gelegenheid van de verbroedering tussen Elsene en Kinsaha.
