Desde el año 2000, la asociación Opslot muestra en un edificio industrial restaurado una notable y casi única colección de cerraduras históricas y contemporáneas.
La colección incluye objetos que van desde antes de la época romana hasta la actualidad. El punto culminante de la colección son las obras maestras de la Edad Media y el Renacimiento; auténticas muestras de arte y artesanía.
La colección también incluye cerraduras de Asia y África, y una parte separada está dedicada a la industria de cerraduras de la Baja Renania del siglo XX reciente.
