Ahora estamos subiendo una colina de arenisca ferruginosa a una altura de aproximadamente 45 metros sobre el nivel del mar. En los mapas antiguos se mencionan los nombres Konijnenberg, Rommelaarberg y Middelborg. El nombre Konijntjesberg data del siglo XX. La arenisca ferruginosa afloró aquí. El suelo es arenoso y no muy fértil. Por eso se plantaron pinos aquí. Desde aquí tienes un hermoso panorama de Rillaar entre Aarschot y Scherpenheuvel.
