El antiguo 'Hooyvettersvoetweg' 'Chemin 59', 'Sentier d'Eppeghem à Weerde' pasa por debajo de la primera línea de tren de Bélgica, que iba de Bruselas a Malinas. El 'Hooyvettersvoetweg' comienza oficialmente, pero ya no es transitable, en Eppegem, cruza el Zenne y continúa a través de un pequeño túnel, que ahora también es inaccesible bajo la vía del tren. Hoy en día, puedes seguir el Hooyvettersvoetweg desde la Huidevettersstraat y continuar por debajo del túnel ferroviario de piedra, que afortunadamente todavía es accesible. Una vez que llegues a la orilla del Zenne, sigues el Zenne hasta el Molino de Weerde.
