Este lugar de picnic se encuentra cerca de la capilla del bosque de Wildenburg.

La capilla del bosque en Wildenburg fue construida en 1877 por orden de la familia van der Bruggen. La capilla se encuentra allí en memoria del barón Charles van der Bruggen, quien fue asesinado en 1875 en Wildenburg por cazadores furtivos salvajes. Vivía en el castillo "blauwhuis" al lado de la iglesia e hizo construir el castillo "Wildenburg" en 1860, que fue demolido en 1985.
