En el pasado, antes de la construcción del puente Cordemois, Bouillonnais y turistas cruzaban el Semois en el vado de Poulie en un bote de fondo plano.
El Pont de la Poulie , también llamado Pont de Cordemois, fue construido en 1930.
Frente al puente hay un edificio, la antigua caseta de vigilancia "La Poulie", que luego se utilizó como "casa de transeúntes" : la caseta de vigilancia del capitán que realizaba la travesía.
El barco es un regalo de los 'Passeurs de Chiny'.
