Encontrarás el Acelerador Azul a unos 500 metros de la costa de Ostende . Esta plataforma de innovación y desarrollo es una iniciativa de la Provincia de Flandes Occidental para apoyar el sector de la energía azul .
Es un recipiente colocado en un poste. Ese montón está muy profundo en el fondo del mar y sobre él se ha colocado un contenedor que se proporciona como laboratorio.
El laboratorio está abierto a todas las empresas , instituciones de conocimiento, pymes e industria que quieran probar innovaciones o nuevas tecnologías en mar abierto.
Sobre el agua puedes usar el espacio aéreo. En el agua se puede utilizar la energía contenida en las olas. Bajo el agua tienes acceso directo al fondo marino.
