Desde su construcción en 1707, el edificio es propiedad de la parroquia de San Nicolás.
La casa, de planta casi cuadrada, cuenta con una habitación en cada esquina. En estas estancias se encuentra un hermoso interior y retratos de los sacerdotes de San Nicolás. La puerta de entrada en la pared da acceso a la entrada principal a través de un esbelto patio.
En 1707 Eupen pasó a formar parte de la República Holandesa durante un breve periodo de tiempo y entonces se permitió la práctica religiosa protestante , pero con la condición de que desde la calle no se viera que en lo que parecía una mansión había una iglesia . Se trataba de esta casa parroquial.
