A lo largo del paseo marítimo de Orleans , cuatro pequeños puentes rústicos cruzan el río Sauvenière. Los puentes llevan el nombre de un pintor .
El cuarto puente, cerca del monumento de Orleans , está dedicado a René Toussaint (1902-1971). Este paisajista vivió casi toda su vida cerca de la fuente de Sauvenière , que administraba con su esposa. Pintó principalmente la fagne de Malchamps y, sobre todo, el sotobosque de los alrededores de La Sauvenière y La Hoëgne.
Fue alumno de Vital Keuller, de quien también lleva el nombre un puente.
