Le long de la Promenade d'Orléans , quatre petits ponts rustiques enjambent la rivière Sauvenière. Ces ponts portent le nom d'un peintre .
Le quatrième pont, près du monument d'Orléans , est dédié à René Toussaint (1902-1971). Ce paysagiste a vécu presque toute sa vie près de la source de la Sauvenière , qu'il exploitait avec son épouse. Il a peint principalement la fagne de Malchamps et surtout les sous-bois autour de La Sauvenière et de La Hoëgne.
Il fut l'élève de Vital Keuller, dont un pont porte également le nom.
