El Castillo de Praga es un conjunto arquitectónico ubicado en Praga, capital de la República Checa. Pese a los sucesivos incendios e invasiones, es uno de los más notables, suntuosos y emblemáticos vestigios del gran pasado histórico, cultural y social de la ciudad.
Construido en el siglo IX, fue la residencia de los reyes de Bohemia, emperadores del Sacro Imperio Romano Germánico, presidentes de Checoslovaquia, de Reinhard Heydrich durante su cargo de protector del Protectorado de Bohemia y Moravia en la ocupación alemana de la Segunda Guerra Mundial y presidentes de la República Checa. En él se encuentran las Joyas de la corona de Bohemia. Con 570 metros de largo y 130 de anchura media, es considerado el castillo antiguo más grande del mundo.[1]
