Hochkreuz es un distrito de la ciudad federal de Bonn, al norte del distrito de Bad Godesberg y parte del barrio federal. Su nombre proviene de una cruz de caminos que estaba en la intersección de la carretera federal 9 con la calle entre Friesdorf y Plittersdorf.
La mitad suroeste de Hochkreuz se encuentra en el término municipal de Friesdorf y su mitad noreste, que pertenece a la ribera del Rin, en el término municipal de Plittersdorf. El distrito estadístico Hochkreuz-Bundesviertel tiene una delimitación ligeramente diferente a la del distrito de Hochkreuz. Además, abarca al oeste de la carretera federal 9 una franja estrecha del distrito de Friesdorf. Hochkreuz es parte del barrio católico Rheinviertel y de la parroquia evangélica de Thomas.
