Hochkreuz è una frazione della città federale di Bonn, situata a nord del distretto urbano di Bad Godesberg e parte del quartiere federale. Prende il nome da un incrocio di strade, che si trovava all'incrocio tra la strada federale 9 e la strada tra Friesdorf e Plittersdorf.
La metà sud-ovest di Hochkreuz si trova nel territorio di Friesdorf e la sua metà nord-est, appartenente alla zona fluviale del Reno, è nel territorio di Plittersdorf. Il distretto statistico di Hochkreuz-Bundesviertel ha una delimitazione leggermente diversa da quella della frazione di Hochkreuz. Inoltre, comprende a ovest della strada federale 9 una stretta striscia della frazione di Friesdorf. Hochkreuz è parte del quartiere cattolico del Reno e della comunità protestante della chiesa di Thomas.
