Hochkreuz is een wijk van de federale stad Bonn in het noorden van het stadsdeel Bad Godesberg en maakt deel uit van het federale kwartier. Hij is vernoemd naar een wegenkruis), dat zich op de kruising van de federale weg 9 met de weg tussen Friesdorf en Plittersdorf bevond.
De zuidwestelijke helft van Hochkreuz ligt in de gemeente Friesdorf en zijn noordelijk deel, dat tot de Rheinaue behoort, ligt in de gemeente Plittersdorf. Het statistische district Hochkreuz-Bundesviertel heeft een iets afwijkende begrenzing ten opzichte van de wijk Hochkreuz. Daarnaast omvat het westelijk van de federale weg 9 een smalle strook van de wijk Friesdorf. Hochkreuz maakt deel uit van het katholieke Rijnkwartier en van de Protestantse Thomas-kerkgemeente.
