El lago Blaustein – oficialmente centro de ocio y recreación Blausteinsee – es un lago artificial de aproximadamente 100 hectáreas y hasta 46 metros de profundidad, situado al norte de Eschweiler en la región metropolitana de Aachen, en el oeste de Renania del Norte-Westfalia. Se formó como parte de la rehabilitación de la antigua mina de lignito Zukunft en la cuenca de lignito del Rin, mediante el relleno del hueco de la mina a cielo abierto con agua superficial y hoy sirve como un área recreativa para las ciudades circundantes. Su nivel de agua se encuentra a 129 m sobre el nivel del mar. El volumen total de llenado es de aproximadamente 25 millones de metros cúbicos. El llenado comenzó en 1994. Anualmente se bombearán 3,8 millones de m³ de agua de los pozos de desagüe de la mina Inden al lago para mantener su nivel actual. Según la región metropolitana de Aachen, esta alimentación con agua de desagüe será necesaria hasta el año 2061.
