El área natural protegida Ruhraue Witten-Gedern es una reserva natural de aproximadamente 85 hectáreas ubicada en el Ruhr, que se extiende transfronterizamente en las dos ciudades del distrito de Witten y Herdecke en Renania del Norte-Westfalia. Se estableció en 1984 como parte de la planificación del paisaje del distrito de Ennepe-Ruhr y lleva la identificación de objeto EN-006. El área recibe su nombre de la zona de asentamiento situada al este, Gedern.
