La réserve naturelle de Ruhraue Witten-Gedern est une réserve naturelle d'environ 85 hectares située le long de la Ruhr, s'étendant transfrontalièrement dans les deux villes de Witten et Herdecke dans le land de la Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie. Elle a été créée en 1984 dans le cadre de l'élaboration du plan de paysage du district d'Ennepe-Ruhr et porte l'identifiant d'objet EN-006. La zone est nommée d'après le secteur résidentiel de Gedern situé à l'est.
