El castillo de Bernburg, también conocido como la Corona de Anhalt, se alza como un castillo renacentista sobre un alto peñasco de arenisca en la orilla este del Saale, en el lugar de un antiguo vado, sobre la ciudad de Bernburg en Sajonia-Anhalt. El complejo del castillo se remonta a un castillo en altura de la época medieval. El castillo es administrado por la Fundación Cultural de Sajonia-Anhalt como propietario.
La Bernburg fue mencionada probablemente ya el 29 de junio de 961 como un castillo redondeado y de huida sajón con murallas y fosas en un documento de donación del rey Otto I como "Brandanburg". Se ha podido comprobar arqueológicamente una gran estructura de castillo de la alta edad media en la colina del castillo de Bernburg.
