La cordillera de Habichtswald, generalmente llamada simplemente Habichtswald, es una sierra de 209 km² de superficie que alcanza hasta 614,8 m sobre el nivel del mar en el Alto Habichtswald y está particularmente boscosa en las elevaciones altas de sus cumbres, situada en el norte de Hesse. Se encuentra mayormente en el distrito de Kassel, aunque al este también se extiende hacia la ciudad de Kassel y al sur hacia el distrito de Schwalm-Eder.
