El castillo de Rheinstein es un castillo en las cercanías de la ciudad de Trechtingshausen en Renania-Palatinado, Alemania.
El castillo fue construido en torno a 1316/1317. Fue importante por su localización estratégica. Para 1344, entró en declive. Para el tiempo de la Guerra de Sucesión de Palatinado, se encontraba en un estado muy desmoronado. Durante el periodo romántico en el siglo XIX, el Príncipe Federico de Prusia compró el castillo y fue reconstruido.
