Le château de Rheinstein est un château du XIVe siècle, situé dans la commune allemande de Trechtingshausen, dans le Land de Rhénanie-Palatinat.
Il était important pour son emplacement stratégique. À partir de 1344, le château fut en déclin. À l'époque de la guerre de succession palatine, le château était très délabré. Au cours de la période romantique du XIXe siècle, le prince Frédéric de Prusse a acheté le château et l'a restauré dans le style historicisant à la mode.
