La capilla católica de montaña Maria Hilf en Valepp fue construida en el año 1710 y se encuentra a una altura de 883 metros. La iglesia es un monumento arquitectónico y figura en la lista de monumentos de Baviera. La construcción fue apoyada y financiada en su mayor parte por el monasterio de Scheyern. La iglesia de montaña se alza sobre una prominencia elevada de pradera sobre el valle del río Valepp, cerca de la frontera entre Baviera y Tirol. El altar de estilo barroco temprano de la capilla de montaña, diseñado a imitación del de la iglesia de San Miguel de Múnich, muestra en su centro la imagen milagrosa de Maria Hilf. Desde la secularización, la capilla de montaña es propiedad del estado bávaro. Párroquialmente, pertenece al área de la parroquia de San José en Neuhaus.
